This week something interesting happened.
Sitting in the sun during my afternoon reading time, preparing to write this newsletter, I opened a book that has been circling through my life for decades.
The War of Art by Steven Pressfield
I think this is the third copy that has come to me, this one with coffee stains to boot. This time - I read it from cover to cover. And then I got the depth of it's message.
Sometimes, something meant for you, will keep reappearing, until you pay attention. Anyone relate?
In one chapter called “The Authentic Self,” Pressfield poses a question that felt deeply true.
For decades in personal development we’ve heard the same message:
You can be anything you want to be.
But what if that isn’t actually true? Pressfield suggests something far more provocative. He says we do not arrive in this world as blank slates waiting for life to stamp an identity on us.
Instead, each of us arrives carrying a distinct nature—
a calling to enact,
a self to become,
a role to play.
Which raises a different question entirely:
What if life is not about becoming anything we want to be…
but about remembering who we already are and what we came to do? And then getting busy living that path!
Which inspired me to create this graphic - to complement my visions of the New One Percent.
What if discovering our purpose is less like choosing a career…
and more like an archaeological excavation of the soul?
Carefully brushing away layers of conditioning, expectations, and fear until we uncover the role we came here to play.
Imagine millions of people asking that question seriously.
Imagine millions remembering.
Because something fascinating happens when one person remembers. It awakens something in another.
Many of you have heard me speak about The New One Percent—the idea that if even one percent of humanity began living in alignment with their deeper purpose, we could reach a tipping point.
Imagine Individuals ... Committed To
Intentionally activating their authentic role within
the larger human ecosystem.
Now here’s where something profound enters the story.
Recently I read an article by Christof Melchizedek applying systems theory to what we’re seeing unfold globally. It's an excellent read. Here's the LINK.
His message is expansive.
When a system reaches the point where violence becomes its primary instrument, it usually means it has already exhausted every other mechanism of influence.
In other words…
Violence is often not the beginning of collapse.
It is the final stage of it.
History gives us many examples:
Empires rarely fade quietly.
They convulse. They fracture. They reach for force when softer control mechanisms no longer work on the population.
And suddenly the turbulence we are witnessing—from geopolitical conflicts like Iran, to cartel violence in Mexico, to the unraveling of elite power structures like the Epstein revelations—begins to look less like the rise of something unstoppable…and more like the
But Christof’s message goes further.
He argues that this is not just another cycle of civilizational collapse.
Something genuinely new is forming.
Systems theory tells us that when a closed system is suddenly restored to a continuous flow of energy, something remarkable happens.
It does not simply return to its previous state.
It reorganizes. It self-assembles into new levels of complexity and coherence that were impossible before.
The restoration of flow does not merely repair the system.
This is where the idea of emergence becomes so powerful. At a certain tipping point, the whole system flips.
Suddenly something entirely new appears. The old structure cannot exist within it.
Which means our task now is not simply to endure the turbulence.
Our bodies.
Our health.
Our consciousness.
Our local communities.
Because remembrance accelerates.
And when enough people remember who they are, a new frequency of human cooperation begins to anchor.
This brings me to something I heard from an interview with G. Edward Griffin.
Finding Truth with G. Edward Griffin
For years people have asked him:
How do we survive what’s coming?
Griffin argues that if we want real change, we must do the same thing that built the system in the first place.
Organize.
Engage.
Enter institutions.
Run for office.
Build local networks.
Step into leadership.
In other words: Stop just analyzing the problem.
Start participating in shaping what comes next.
One of the clearest explanations of the deeper problem comes from The Chasm by G. Edward Griffin. Download it for free at this LINK.
Griffin argues that beneath all the political labels and debates lies a much simpler divide: collectivism versus individualism — systems that concentrate power in centralized authority versus societies built on individual responsibility, voluntary cooperation, and freedom.
Understanding that distinction changes how we see the moment we’re living in.
This is exactly the kind of moment I had in mind thirty years ago when the phrase Heart Plan Vision first came through me.
A world where people across the planet awaken to their purpose and begin collaborating to create something wiser, healthier, and more life-giving.
Not through centralized control.
But through millions of people expressing their authentic role within the larger human ecosystem.
Signal by signal. Connection by connection.
Until humanity begins discovering its deeper potential as a living system.
There is one more idea worth holding as we move through these turbulent times.
Drawing further from the Christof Melchizedek piece I have been quoting.
In the 1970s, Nobel Prize–winning chemist Ilya Prigogine discovered something remarkable while studying complex systems.
Under certain conditions, systems that appear unstable or chaotic do not collapse into disorder.
Instead, when they remain open to the flow of energy around them, they can spontaneously reorganize into higher levels of complexity and coherence.
In other words, turbulence can sometimes be the signal that a new level of order is trying to emerge.
Christof Melchizedek believes we may be witnessing exactly such a moment on a planetary scale.
He and others are working in ways that most of us cannot fully see yet — quietly engaging with the deeper energetic architecture of the Earth itself.
And if their understanding is correct, something profound may already be underway.
A phase transition where entirely new patterns of human cooperation can begin to take shape. Which means the real work in front of us is not merely resisting what is falling apart.
It is becoming the people capable of building what comes next.
Strengthening our bodies.
Strengthening our communities.
Strengthening our clarity and purpose.
Because when enough individuals begin expressing their unique function within the whole, something remarkable becomes possible.
Human civilization does not simply survive the transition. It Evolves.
"All of a sudden, we will enter Principle One emergence."
... And all of a sudden, just like that, the whole system flips, and we enter something brand new. The mainstream folks will not see it coming, but you will know exactly what is happening because you have not only been following along with the story. Hopefully, you have been participating directly in it.
And here is what systems theory tells us about what happens when you restore through-flow to a system that has been running on closed-loop energy for a very long time.
It doesn't just return to its previous state before the closure. It reorganises. It self-assembles toward new levels of complexity and coherence that were not possible in the closed state."

Hello Friends, Subscribe Here IN THIS ISSUE Over the last several years, much of my work has focused on freedom, truth, systems, and the larger forces shaping our world. And while I still believe those conversations deeply matter, something has also become increasingly clear to me: How we live our personal lives—our health, our emotional well-being, our resilience, our daily foundations—directly affects our ability to respond wisely and effectively to the larger issues unfolding around us.
